Thank you for your interest in PEI Matchmaker.

We launched PEI Matchmaker on February 14 as an expansion of Halifax Matchmaker, with the goal of bringing a more intentional and curated dating experience to singles across Prince Edward Island.

Since then, Halifax Matchmaker has continued to grow, and at this time, our focus needs to remain on supporting that growth and building the right team behind it.

Because of this, we’ve made the decision to pause the PEI expansion for now. We want to wait to move forward in PEI until we are able to give it the time and attention it deserves.

Since PEI Matchmaker will not be actively operating at this time, the PEI profiles that were created will be deleted. We believe this is the most privacy-conscious approach, rather than keeping personal dating profiles on file while the service is paused.

This does not mean the idea is gone forever. We still see so much potential for PEI Matchmaker, but we want to make sure that when we move forward, we have the right team, support, and structure in place to thrive.
